Our Funding

Woking Mind has signed a broad agreement with National Mind to uphold their ideals. We receive no direct funding from them. Woking Mind can be compared to a franchise operation, independent but using the National Mind banner and corporate identity.

The funding we receive through charitable donations or statutory services is used to the benefit of adults (18 plus) with mental health issues residing in Woking Borough. The gateway to our services is our Drop-In Centre at CornerHouse. Our Drop-In Centre, linked services and projects offer non clinical social support and assistance.

Woking Mind receives an annual grant of £9000 from statutory authorities. The NHS owns CornerHouse with some rent costs paid by Social Services. Our projects and programmes attract funding through grants and donations from local companies, individuals and national campaign schemes.
