Informal mutual support through friendship
Woking Mind was founded in 1979 to help people who live within the Borough of
Woking and who have difficulties with their mental health.
The primary task of Woking Mind is to supplement the care that people receive
from the NHS and from Social Services.
This involves bringing social contact into the lives of people who may feel
isolated, helping them to meet others in a similar position, and assisting and
supporting them in their dealings with the statutory and other authorities.
Volunteering - How you can help us!
We really need the support of local people to help us increase the range of services that Woking Mind provides. We always need people to help at our drop-ins, drive our mini-bus and help run activity sessions. Please contact us if you think you can help!
Drop-ins
Woking Mind hold regular drop-in sessions at two locations. There is no need to book or to be referred so please feel free to just drop-in!
