Match Report � Walton Excel - 18th October 2013<br/><br/>
So this is it, the big day is finally here. Walton Excel was the venue for Woking Minders� opening match of the 2013 / 14 season and the weather has been kind to us�.the sun is shining!
<br/><br/>
The first of our 2 matches is against Rushmoor and we are certainly the strong favourites to clinch this opener. The first few minutes are dominated by Woking Minders with numerous attempts at goal, with the first successful shot taken by Jason to put us into a 1 � 0 lead. This pattern continues for the next few minutes until Nick attempts a rather ambitious scissor kick, which unfortunately ends in disaster. 2 broken bones later, Nick is taken off to hospital, resulting in a draw for our first match.

Thanks to everyone who took part and in particular to Paul Cheetham, who came out of retirement, in order to allow play to continue after Nick�s accident.
<br/><br/>
We all wish Nick a speedy recovery, and I look forward to seeing you all at the next game (15th November 2013), which will hopefully be slightly less �eventful�.
